Shawn Anderson
Shawn is a former NHL hockey player with eighteen years of professional hockey playing experience. Shawn has both North American and International professional hockey experience to his credit. Shawn is an advanced level one certified coach recognized by the NCCP. Shawn has coached youth hockey at all levels. Shawn is Hockey Director of multiple local minor hockey associations providing them with a structured approach to hockey development. Shawn has implement hockey programs into local elementary and high schools with tremendous success. Shawn has provided hockey development to over 5000 players since the start of HST in 2004 and has developed a training concept that incorporates on-ice training and off-ice training so that players can achieve a consistent rate of success within their development to becoming a better hockey player. Shawn is currently Head Coach of the Hawkesbury Hawks of the (CJHL) Central Junior Hockey League which has placed over 100 players into Division 1 Colleges since 2006.
Ozzie Strbac
Ozzie has been involved in athletic training for since 1995. The last 10 have been exclusively dedicated to hockey specific training. Ozzie has trained many amateur hockey players including players in minor hockey all the way up to the pros. To Ozzie's credit he has trained NHL, AHL and European professional level hockey players. Ozzie has extensive experience in team training which after training teams in the professional ranks has brought this method to minor hockey. Since starting the Off Ice Training for HST in 2004 Ozzie has help hundreds of players in minor hockey achieve goals that would not have been possible without the off ice programs he provided. Ozzie is educating players of all ages the importance of off ice training and how it benefits their on ice performance. Ozzie has designed a unique scientific approach for training young hockey players which is normally only available to professionals hockey players. Ozzie has many certifications to his credit and continue to educate himself within the athletic and medical industry in order to provide our clients with the most advanced training available on the market. Ozzie currently has clients playing in Professional Hockey, College Hockey, Prep School Hockey, QMJHL, CJHL, Midget AAA, Midget Espoir and throughout out minor hockey at the double letter levels.
Pro Instructors
Because of the continued growth of HST it will continue to offer professional instructors who have both the experience of playing professional hockey and training players wanting to play at the highest level. HST will always provide it's clients with the highest level of experienced instruction so that they achieve their goals.
